Skank was set up in 1991 in Belo Horizonte.the members are Samuel Rosa (guitar and voice) Henrique Portugal (Keyboards), Lelo Zanet (bass) and Haroldo Ferretti (Drums).
The first album "Skank" was released independently in1993,but soon the band's succes in the Underground scene aroused the interest of Sony Music Skank took album in 1993-94.
In 1994.the second album Skank was the springboard to stardom it sold more than 1 million copies of "Lizard" and songs like "Jackie Tequila" and "Te Ver' have become real hits,sung by the Whole Country.
In 2010 the band Skank carry on making Aeat Music such as "Resposta","Saidera" and "Balada do Amor Inabalável".The Band grow up reached he Top When the recorded at Minerão Stadium in Pampulha,Belo Horizonte,a Cd,DVD and Blu Ray.
With over 5.5 milion records sold,Skank currently lives have the privilege and the chalenge of maintaining the loyalty of its audience,it supports even more risky their flights.
